Yoga For Fertility This3-day mini accessible and innovative course gently guides you no matter if you are trying to conceive naturally or with assisted reproductive technology. This course will encourage you to release stress, anxiety, and hold a more healing perspective.It includes journal prompts, yin yoga, breathwork, meditations, affirmations, and visualizations techniques.You will leave the three days with practical tools for optimizing fertility, navigate the challenges of your life with more fluidity and fluency, as well as creating a mindset needed to create positivity and success for fertility.
DAY 1: Breathwork: Pranayama- Apana Vayu In this introductory session, we’ll begin exploring our natural life force energy or prana.Prana is the foundation of all our practice. We’ll also discuss discuss various breathing (pranayama techniques) such as apana vayu. Apana vayu focuses the breath in the pelvic region and how to skillfully control it in the body through deep breathing techniques. Today’s lesson will enhance breath control and will serve as the foundation for the course.
DAY 2: Trust & Surrender Now that we’ve established a foundation, we’ll explore the body and how attachment and gripping is the root of much suffering in our lives.Gripping can be described as holding on tightly to thoughts, expectations, muscular contractions and past assessments of ourselves.These old patterns are developed through years of environmental and emotional conditioning. This class gives you the tools to soften when the body and mind reacts through yin yoga.This awareness allows the body to respond by stimulating connective tissue as well as training our mind to be more resilient to handle challenges that we experience everyday. Together we’ll learn to trust what your body wants for you and energetically finding reserves to receiving and accepting.
DAY 3: Overcome Negative Thoughts On day three, we will calm the active mind through meditation.This session we will learn how to develop a conscious, calm mind with a focus on breathing.Meditation helps you know yourself better, appreciate yourself and others more, and sleep more soundly. This lesson will equip you with the tools to leave practice with resources to observe when habits of giving into agitation and reaction begin in life, find the silver lining with whatever challenge you meet, and use itto enrich your journey.
